Liability Waiver and Release Agreement

​

1. Introduction 

This Liability Waiver and Release Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between [Client Name] ("Client") and Relational Mastery Institute ("RMI"), as of the date indicated below.

2. Acknowledgement of Services

Client acknowledges that RMI provides services designed to assist clients in achieving personal goals and improving various aspects of their lives. Client understands that these services provide a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of their life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education, and recreation. 

​

3. No Guarantees 

Client understands and agrees that RMI cannot guarantee any specific results from its services and that the Client is responsible for their own decisions, actions, and results. 

​

4. Voluntary Participation

Client acknowledges that participation in RMI’s services is entirely voluntary and that they may terminate or discontinue participation at any time. 

​

5. Assumption of Risk

Client understands that RMI’s services are not a substitute for professional mental health care or medical care. Client acknowledges that they are solely responsible for their physical, mental, and emotional well-being during RMI’s services, including their choices and decisions. Client accepts and agrees that they are fully aware of the potential risks involved in RMI’s services and assume full responsibility for any and all risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which might occur as a result of participating in RMI’s services.

6. Release and Waiver of Liability 

Client hereby releases RMI from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of their participation in RMI’s services.

​

7. Indemnification

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RMI from any and all claims, demands, actions, and costs, including attorney's fees, arising out of or in connection with their participation in RMI’s services.

8. Confidentiality

RMI agrees to keep all information shared during Client’s participation in RMI’s services confidential, except as required by law. Client acknowledges that RMI is not bound by client-therapist privilege. 

​

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. 

 

10. Severability

If any term or provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms and provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
